Domaine Val de Loire

Tucked away in the heart of the Loire Valley, just 15 minutes from the world-famous Château de Chambord, Domaine Val de Loire embodies the quiet majesty of French country life. This 19th-century estate, reborn as a private retreat, welcomes its guests into a world where history, nature and refined simplicity coexist in perfect balance.

Surrounded by 130 hectares of forests, meadows and gardens, the property stretches gracefully between the Loire River and the rolling countryside. The château’s 1’200 m² of living space blend classical proportions with warm, contemporary interiors. Seven spacious bedrooms accommodate up to 14 guests, each with its own character and 6 of them with en-suite bathroom. Antique furnishings, soft linens and views over the park or forest create a serene environment inviting guests to disconnect, recharge and rediscover the art of living well.

The ground floor is made of the main living room, adorned with fireplaces, plush sofas and a piano, an adjoining library surrounded by books and soft light, and a generously-sized dining room. Mornings unfold gracefully in the winter garden, bathed in daylight and overlooking the park - a tranquil setting for breakfast or tea.

In the park, an outdoor heated pool glistens from May to September, framed by a shaded pergola and deckchairs. The pool house includes a summer kitchen, dining area and fireplace — the perfect setting for al fresco evenings.

The estate can accommodate up to 36 guests in 18 bedrooms, using the outbuilding of the Chateau - a beautiful century-old gite made of 3 bedrooms and 5 apartments, which also comes with an indoor swimming pool and additional living/reception areas.
