Tucked between pine forest and Atlantic breeze, Villa Lège offers a soulful escape in the heart of Cap Ferret, a place where architecture, authenticity, and nature come together in perfect harmony. Before becoming the striking holiday retreat it is today, the villa was a modest, abandoned house tucked away in a peaceful corner of the peninsula.

Architect Frédéric Thet saw not only the charm of its southern exposure and wooded setting, but also its potential to become a new kind of refuge.

Drawing inspiration from the region’s traditional oyster shacks, Thet reimagined the home with a deep respect for its surroundings. Built in local Landes pine, the villa now blends vernacular simplicity with modern comfort, creating a space that feels both rooted and refined. Inside, the open-plan living and dining room connects seamlessly to the exterior, opening onto a vast terrace with an outdoor kitchen and a heated retractable pool that can transform into a sun deck at will.

Accommodating up to 11 guests in 5 en-suite bedrooms, Villa Lège also features a private cinema room, wine cellar, and expansive lush garden, an ode to barefoot luxury and slow-living, just minutes from the ocean and Arcachon Bay.
